About the Course
Laranjal Golf Course
Laranjal Golf Course was designed by Paul McGinley and Jorge Santana da Silva and opened in 2009. Set within the Quinta do Lago estate, the course takes its name from the orange groves that frame many of its fairways — creating a distinctive and fragrant atmosphere that is unique within the estate.
The course plays to 6,090 yards from the championship tees and offers a more relaxed and scenic experience than the championship South Course. The design emphasises natural contours, wide fairways, and a flowing layout that is enjoyable for golfers of all abilities. The conditioning is maintained to the same high standard as the rest of the Quinta do Lago estate.
