Quinta do Lago North Course
The Quinta do Lago North Course was originally designed by William Mitchell alongside the South Course and opened in 1974. Like the South Course, it was substantially redesigned by Beau Welling and has been elevated to a high standard of championship resort golf within the Quinta do Lago estate.
The North Course plays to 6,348 yards from the championship tees and offers a contrasting experience to the South Course — a more open, links-influenced character with wider fairways, fewer trees, and a greater exposure to the Atlantic winds. Several holes play alongside the Ria Formosa nature reserve, with views across the lagoon to the Atlantic.
